The Maintenance Executive is responsible for overseeing and performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities related to plumbing systems, building infrastructure, and general facilities. The role ensures that all building services, equipment, and facilities are maintained in a safe, efficient, and operational condition while complying with safety and regulatory standards.

The Maintenance Executive is responsible for overseeing and performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities related to plumbing systems, building infrastructure, and general facilities. The role ensures that all building services, equipment, and facilities are maintained in a safe, efficient, and operational condition while complying with safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
Plumbing Maintenance
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, sanitary, and sewage systems.
- Respond promptly to plumbing-related issues such as leaks, blockages, water pressure problems, and equipment malfunctions.
- Conduct regular inspections of pumps, valves, water tanks, piping systems, and sanitary fixtures.
- Coordinate with external contractors for major plumbing works when required.
- Perform routine inspections of building facilities and infrastructure to identify maintenance needs.
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance for building components, including walls, ceilings, flooring, doors, windows, and fixtures.
- Monitor the condition of common areas and ensure facilities remain safe and presentable.
- Assist in minor repairs related to carpentry, painting, masonry, and general maintenance.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Maintain maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and asset documentation.
- Monitor utility consumption and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with internal departments to minimize disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Liaise with contractors and service providers for maintenance projects and repairs.
- Supervise contractors on-site to ensure work quality and compliance with company standards.
- Assist in obtaining quotations and evaluating service providers.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or plumbing systems.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, water distribution, drainage systems, pumps, and sanitary fittings.
- Experience in preventive maintenance planning and troubleshooting building-related issues.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
- Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and building maintenance standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
