Manager/Supervisor
The Investment Manager is responsible for leading the evaluation, underwriting, due diligence, approval,
acquisition, and closing of hotel and real estate investment transactions. This role works closely with
investors, consultants, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful transaction
execution and investment performance.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Investment & Underwriting
- Lead financial modeling, valuation, and investment underwriting.
- Prepare LOIs, exclusivity agreements, investment memorandum and approval of materials.
- Present investment recommendations to Investment Committees and investors.
- Conduct final underwriting reviews and closing assessments.
Due Diligence Management
- Oversee commercial, technical, appraisal, and compliance with due diligence activities.
- Analyze hotel markets, competitive positioning, operating performance, and investment assumptions.
- Coordinate engineering assessments, property condition reviews, and valuation reports.
- Identify and mitigate transaction risks and material findings.
Transaction Execution
- Manage acquisition processes, including PSA negotiations, brokerage agreements, settlement documents, and closing requirements.
- Coordinate legal, financial, technical, and external advisors throughout the transaction life-cycle.
- Track transaction milestones, conditions of precedent, and closing deliverables.
Investor Relations & Reporting
- Maintain transaction trackers and investment reporting.
- Provide regular updates on transaction status, due diligence findings, risks, and funding requirements.
- Coordinate investor approvals, consent requests, and closing-readiness reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Real Estate, Hospitality Management, Engineering, or related field.
- MBA, CFA, CAIA, CPA, or other relevant professional qualifications are an advantage.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in investment management, acquisitions, corporate finance, private equity, real estate investments, hospitality investments, or investment banking.
- Proven experience in financial modeling, investment underwriting, due diligence, and transaction execution.
- Experience preparing investment committee materials and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders and investors.
- Exposure to hotel, hospitality, or real estate investment transactions is highly preferred.
Personal Qualities & Attributes:
- Well versed in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, including financial modelling, graphs charting and presentation
- Be an independent learner, team player and enjoy working within a dynamic group and fast-paced environment
- Be meticulous and has the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and in an organized way
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with strong logical thinking capability, including the ability to communicate efficiently to various stakeholders
- Proficient research experience with ability to independently collect and evaluate economic and local market data
