Job Description :

We envision to be one of the leading and fastest growing midscale hotel chains in Asia. To date, we are managing more than 4,000 rooms in 6 countries and more than 15 gateway cities across Asia Pacific.  

We are looking for a highly analytical, passionate, and ambitious Revenue Manager for Southeast Asia market (SEA) with a solid performance track record in managing pricing excellence and revenue growth in SEA markets.  

In this role, you will be responsible for driving cluster of hotels’ healthy revenue growth, MPI and RGI; via pricing excellence practices across properties. You will be part of the corporate team who build Travelodge’s revenue growth management and pricing operational excellence. You will play a pivotal role in setting up and running of pricing experimentation, rolling out key strategies to countries, and providing in-depth business analysis for country teams to excel. You will sit at a strategic role as custodian of country revenue performance, assisting country and hotel team to achieve desired business outcomes.

Responsibilities : 

Revenue Management Strategic Role 

  1. Accountable in building and co-leading yearly budgeting and business planning together with Country Commercial Heads and Corporate Revenue Director. 

  1. Accountable to lead commercial cadence, serving as a marshal and custodian of revenue management of properties in SEA. 

  1. Accountable in setting up, maintaining, and improving competitive set indicators and KPI tracking for hotel performance benchmark. 

  1. Responsible for improving and orchestrating TLA SEA pricing excellence domain, rolling out pricing strategy and framework for country and hotel teams to adopt. 

  1. Responsible for building strategy, discipline, and center of excellence around pricing intelligence to guide hotel commercial and operation team in maximizing RevPar (RGI) and Occupancy (MPI) to meet with budgeted target. 

  1. Responsible in delivering timely business analysis and recommendation for C-level support including but not limited to hotel level performance but also group level strategic objective around revenue growth management. 

Revenue Management Operational Role 

  1. Responsible in daily pricing optimization, rate management, and inventory management of each property to maximize MPI x RGI. 

  1. Responsible in ensuring rate connectivity is correct to each channel, working together with Distribution team. 

  1. Responsible for market survey, insight gathering, competitor benchmarking to suggest recovery and growth plan per property. 

  1. Together with HQ commercial team, develop new portfolio SKUs to support incremental revenue growth for the group. 

  1. Responsible for proposing to HQ and running of pricing experimentation to address business opportunity and problems. 

  1. Responsible in nurturing, managing, and achieving designated brand price parity level across all digital non-proprietary platforms for Travelodge hotels. 

Requirements : 

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Psychology, Finance, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a STEM related field from reputable universities. 

  1. Minimum of 5-7 years of total professional experience with min. 2 years in OTA/Airlines/Hotels and 3 years of managing and leading a team. 

  1. Proven track record or natural ability of help managing end-to-end project with solid KPI delivery, focus on delivering results. 

  1. Attention to detail with familiarity to hypothesis-led analysis and critical thinking.  

  1. Ability of multitasking and comfortable in navigating through ambiguity. 

  1. Love rapid experiment to continuously iterate white space opportunity. 

  1. Resourceful and possess strong grit to make up for the capability gap. 

  1. High integrity and entrepreneurial self-driven ambition to grow business and team.  

  1. Strong data analytical skills. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Tools especially Excel. Literacy in data scrumming and analysis tools such as SQL, Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar is a BIG plus. 

  1. Excellent English communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
