We are looking for a highly creative Social Media and Content Marketing Specialist in Korea to join Travelodge Hotels Asia global expansion team under contract or part-time term with committed working hours of up to 4 hours per day or 80 hours per month. What is expected from you
In this role, you will be responsible to drive social media and content marketing excellence to promote Travelodge Hotels Asia collection for Korean travelers.
Ideal candidates need to have a solid track record in performing creative yet efficient travel content marketing in format of visual and motion designs. Candidates need to have pragmatic and relevant instinct of social media trend for travel. You will need to have a certain level of mastery in visual communication design, leveraging AI and other graphic or motion design tools to perform daily tasks. You will need to have and use of legal design software, personal computer and camera to fulfill the role.
The role will assist both corporate and hotel operation functions in unlocking next level localized marketing activities. Knowledge over local Korean consumers in travel and hospitality is a-must. You will mainly be responsible in producing Korean friendly content marketing materials, however, proficiency to speak and write in English is a big plus as you need to work together with cross functional team in other countries.

Responsibilities:
- Drive and responsible for local social media content and marketing activities for Korean target customers, including but not limited to SNS platforms and web platforms of Travelodge Hotels Asia.
- Manage Korean influencers and blogger communities to promote all Travelodge Hotels Asia properties to Korean audience.
- Regular local travel market trend research and analysis of social media landscape in Korea on weekly basis.
- Regular website content translation, adaptation or update to attain highest level of relevancy and contextual to Korean travelers.
- Support hotel commercial and operation team in designing and executing trade marketing and on-premise collaterals, collaborating with corporate marketing.
- Assist hotel important go-to-market activities including but not limited to Grand Opening, regular content updates and on ground marketing activities.
- Conduct regular audit and opportunities to improve Korean content in official brand website and online platforms including but not limited to local OTA and local news platform to promote Travelodge Hotels Asia to Korean target market.
- Collaborate with Hotel Commercial, Operation, Corporate Marketing and Technical Service team to support regular rejuvenation of creative yet pragmatic hotel collateral design, up to date and adherent to Travelodge brand identity.
- Collaborate with hotel and corporate team to develop local Korean user-friendly sales-kit, trade show supports and digital campaign for local OTA platforms.
- Help to represent Travelodge Hotels Asia as on-ground marketing staff for event and official meeting if assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master degree in Visual Communication Design, Photography, Videography, Arts, or Marketing related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome but we will prioritize if you have a minimum of 1-3 years of working experience especially in social media or creative design, both professionally and semi-professionally.
- Taste of creative design, up to date trend to next generation travelers, digital savvy and pragmatic marketing.
- Excellent communication and dependable project management skills in both Korean and English.
- Strong attention to details with eye for design output aesthetically.
- Proficiency in creating content writing, drawing and editing photos or videos via social media is a must.
- Full knowledge of Korean SNS (Social Media), Naver search platform, Chat, and Bloggers/Influencers platforms.
- Native level Korean language skills with both written and spoken of intermediate basic English communication skills. A TOEFL iBT score of minimum of 20 or IELTS score of minimum 6 will be a BIG plus point.
- High integrity and entrepreneurial self-driven with minimum needs of supervision.
- Comfortable with pressure and navigating ambiguity with a high sense of ownership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in social media or digital marketing agencies.
- Candidate himself/herself is a content creator in one of more of social media platforms.
- Basic understanding and flair of aesthetic photography and design.
- Experience working in travel related industries is a plus.
- Track record with submission of artworks or work portfolios.
